We created transparent furniture so that the materials of the building, the ingredients, and the surrounding landscape overlap, adding depth to the dining experience. The table's distinctive meandering form emerged from a careful reading of the size and arrangement of the tableware used during meals and the paths of people walking around the table; it is a shape derived from the relationships among them. Rather than asserting itself in the space, the furniture aims to let materials, food, and landscape show through it, becoming something that connects them.
