About

About the Office

Focusing on houses, shops, clinics, and accommodation, we design architecture that values light, materials, and landscape.
Regardless of scale or use, every design begins with reading the story that resides in the site.
Working mainly in Kanagawa and Tokyo, we accept commissions from all over Japan.

Philosophy

What We Value

01

Creating what can be realized only for that place and those people.

02

Taking the story that resides in the site as our starting point.

03

Generating new value that has never existed before.

Keywords

Our design rests on three elements: light, materials, and landscape — the quality of light falling on the site, the feel of the materials found there, and the relationship with the surrounding landscape. By carefully reading these three, we discover an architectural form that only that place and those people could arrive at.
